Finally back with an outfit post! This outfit wasn't planned at all, i was going shopping and i didn't really know what to wear as the weather is so hit and miss here in England at the moment.

IM BACK! Ive recently hit a bit of a blogging slump and had no motivation for anything really so i apologise for being MIA but im back and ready to get back into the blogging world.

Burgundy is the New Black

Due to the recent political events i thought i would put a fashion spin on this aptly named title. Maybe try and make this not such a negative comment. So as the winter months approach, black tends to be my go to colour.

I am a Girls Girl

Every since i was young i have always been more of a girls girls, im socially incompetent when it comes to boys, i just feel more at ease in a group of girls.

I mean i know most girls hate how bitchy it is but come on! EVERYONE loves a good bitch. And ive always felt super supported by all my girl friends. So when the GirlsGirlclub approached me and said they would like to work with me i was like Hell Yes!

They allowed me to pick any expression tee from their site and omg it was so hard! There were so many i could relate to! However with me recently entering the adult/working world i thought this " I cant adult" slogan tee would be perfect. There are many days im feeling just this. This shirt is from the brand Expression Tees https://expressiontees.com their items are so quirky and cool! 

The only thing that seems important is making sure my outfit is on point and my eyeliner is perfect. I cant help but get super excited about what shoes to pair with my outfit every day. I am such a girls girls that adulting can be super hard. But i always know that i have the support of all my girl friends and all the lovely blogging ladies i have meet. This club is such an incredible way to help support us gals in the cyber world, why not join and we can all give each other a virtual hug.

Autumn Glam

The autumn months are finally upon. It so cliche but i cant bloody believe its October!! Where has 2016 gone. Im not a fan of the cold as most of my outfits tend to get hidden by a big coat because i cant ever bring myself to brave how cold it will be without it.

Breaking my Suit virginity

I've never felt old enough to pull of a suit but as I have started my first ever adult job I thought it was time I broke my suit virginity. I am finally entering the adult work I need to do it in style.

Jumpsuitting

Playsuits are my thing, they suit my body type and height but when it comes to jumpsuits I tend to struggle. I always feel too short or totally lacking in the boob department to ever look good in them.

However not too long ago when I was out shopping with my mum I saw this gorgeous palm print jumpsuit from Topshop and though sod it I'm going to try it on. I'm so glad I did! I actually felt so comfy in it. It has pockets, a loose waistband and the v neck isn't too low that I look like a total ironing board.

The length was perfect and I thought it looked super cute with these small New Look strappy heels and my Michael Kors bag. I decided to wear my River Island leather jacket because I feel this jumpsuit, although it is very summery, it can be worn anytime it all depends on how you accessories it.

Finally learning to love Culottes

Culottes have been everywhere over the past year or so. All different colours, styles and prints have been all over the catwalk and then replicated in high street stores.

How to rock a statement boot

Glitter, sparkle, sequins anything that shines I LOVE! So when I saw these boots in River Island the other day I had to have them. The glitter is just so perfect and shines so beautifully in the light.

However when it came time to wear them I struggled picking an outfit that didn't clash with them. These really are a statement boot, so they don't need anything else stealing the show.

My biggest tip when styling a statement boot would be just stick to block colours, no patterns or prints, whichever colour matches the boot the best i would say just go with it. For me most colours go well with these boots but I do think black is the safest option so I wore my black ribbed River Island top and leather jackets with my Miss Foxy black jeans.

I had so many compliments on these shoes because what I was wearing really let the shoes be the star of the outfit. So if you decide on buying any statement pieces just let that be the main focus don't clash it with loads of colours and prints.

Im not great when it comes to white clothing, im a prone spiller and generally quite messy, so white and me dont always mix too well. However when it comes summer time there is no better colour to wear, so i make a conscious effort to be less clumsy whenever i want to wear white.

Having been part of this lovely little blogging world for a whole year now i feel like i have picked up some big blogging habits so i thought i would share them and hope this post is something most of you can all relate too.

Two trends that are everywhere right now! I have to say im not really a trend follower i just tend to wear what suits me and if it happens to be on trend then its a win win and this is what has happened with these two trends.

What i got for my 21st Birthday

IM 21! I cannot believe it all flew by so quickly but i had the most amazing weekend. My actual birthday was the 25th June but i celebrated with my friends on the Friday and my family on the Saturday and it was all just so much fun, i loved every minute of it. I also got some AMAZING presents so i thought i would share them all with you guys.

I cant thank my family and boyfriend enough for these lovely gifts and just making my birthday so special. I wont bore you with the little gifts but ive picked out the things i think you guys would be interested in seeing and split it into 3 categories, clothing, accessories and random bits.

1. ACCESSORIES

I GOT A MICHAEL KORS HANDBAG!! I have wanted a designer bag for so long and i am still in a state of shock that i now own one, i feel like the luckiest girl. Black is perfect colour for me, there is less chance of it getting dirty and it will go with everything in my wardrobe! I am in love, it has an insane amount of space inside and the leather is really sturdy so you can tell its not a fake. I was beyond happy with that but then i also got a DKNY purse to match my bag, i was gobsmacked and super overwhelmed that i had such amazing presents, i cant thank my parents enough. Be prepared to see ALOT of this bag in all my upcoming outfit posts.

2. CLOTHING

Every single item of clothing i got bought for my birthday was from River Island, that just shows how much my family and boyfriend know how much i love that shop. My boyfriend bought me the oversized striped shirt which will go perfectly with a pair of tight skinny jeans and he also got me the black and white crop top which is super cute and fits really nice. Then my parents bought me the bey and jay sweatshirt which is so soft and cosy inside and its just going to be something i reach for all the time. Finally they got me this super cool metallic vibe silver bomber jacket. I went shopping with my mum a while ago and never bought this and regretted it ever since but now i have it and i know it will be worn alot!

3. RANDOM BITS

These gifts are all from my boyfriend, he got me way more than i expected, i was so happy. He knows how much i love sweets and OMG these peach hearts have literally made my life, apparently they sell all typed of sweets in these huge boxes on amazon, so i will defiantly be buying some more when i run out, which probably wont take long! Obviously he knows how much i love blogging and watching YouTube videos so he bought me Zoellas girl online book which im excited to start reading. How cute is this nemo?! Its one of my favourite Pixar films and he always said he would win me one in those grabby machines but he couldn't so he bought me this cutie instead, he even had a lucky fin! Then finally he surprised me with tickets to Matilda the Musical. I have loved the film ever since i was little and i cant wait to see it come to life on stage!
