About me

My first ever blogging event!

I can't believe I am finally able to write this but I have finally been to a blogging event! And it was such an amazing experience! I attended the bloggers hangout fashion week at the OXO Tower Wharf in Southbank, London.

The dress code was all black chic (amazing, I know) so I decided on my asymmetric skirt from Miss Foxy, mesh overlay top from River Island and of course can't miss out on incorporating my favourite trend, fringe! So I wore my Fringe boots from New Look and Steve Madden fringe bag, all black of course!
And wow what an incredible day it was! I attended both sessions 12-3 and 6-9. Both were filled with amazing brands and spectacular fashion shows! There is so much to talk about so I'll just tell you my personal favourites and highlights of the day! But if you want to see the event schedule of the whole day just click on this link below here

I've always been a bit dull and boring with my hair it's always been the same colour! So when I saw this stand putting the most amazing colours into people hair, I was immediately attracted! Their products are incredible and are stocked in over 1,200 salons across the UK! They have a choice of over 55 colours and the best part for me is they are only semi permanent so no huge commitment is being made.
I plumped for a pastel purple colour ( I am a huge Kelly Osbourne fan!) and it literally only took about 10 minutes for the stylist to apply the strips into my hair and I have to say I love it! The colour is really subtle and it sounds silly but it makes me feel quite daring, which I feel hair products should do! The team were all really friendly and helpful! So if you feel like trying something new click on their name above and find your closest salon!
Just looking a their handbag collection you would say they charge around £40-£50 per bag, as they look really high quality! So you can imagine my shock when they told me they were all priced at £25 or under! I couldn't believe it! It's a family run business based in Bournemouth, I met both daughter and mum and they were so lovely! They are so passionate about their brand and really do create amazing products! Which included purses, scarves and accessories too! So if your looking for an affordable, yet fashionable item then click on their name above to check out their website!
When ever you paint your nails, someone always conplains about the smell, well this no longer needs to happen! Little Ondine's nail varnish is totally odourless! And even better it peels off!! I have never seen nail varnish quite like it! They have some of the most amazing selection colours I've ever seen in a nail varnish collection and even their stand was decorated with the cutest macaroons!
I have a little sample from them so I'll be doing a review on that in the upcoming weeks! But in the mean time I recommend you check out their website!
As you all know I love fashion so I was very excited by these two brands! Motel rocks had some stunning pieces! They were showcasing their current collection and then a few sneaky pieces from their upcoming party wear! My personal  favourite was the jumpsuit on the mannequin! So 70s and for once not low cut!
Another amazing designer that was there was the lovely Gerogina Dee. I managed to catch her and she is so humble, her designs are incredible! The colours and fabric she uses are just exquisite!
The amount going on at the event was endless! Their was an amazing cocktail bar (bubblegum pop was the best), beauty treatments, manicures and makeovers.
There was even a company called Galimard who created the most innivitave product I've seen. A phone case that holds perfume! I know amazing! I have a sample so I'll be doing a post soon all about it so keep your eyes peeled!
I also got a sample from the new nail varnish company True Brit so another review will be coming from them very soon. It was one of the best days I've had in a long time! And I got the chance to meet so many lovely people! Bloggers Hangout thank you for creating such an incredible event I will never forget!

Okay so I've tried to match all the picture to the correct parts but any extra I've just put below for you to have a browse!
Hope you enjoyed this post!
Have you been to any blogging events recently?
