Burgundy is the New Black

Due to the recent political events i thought i would put a fashion spin on this aptly named title. Maybe try and make this not such a negative comment. So as the winter months approach, black tends to be my go to colour.

However this year i have found my self reaching for more and more burgundy items. I have at least one item of clothing in every form of burgundy in my wardrobe,as we speak. I love styling it with all kinds of colour tones especially this stone coloured skirt i picked up from missguided the other week.

The new store they have in Manchester is now deadly for my bank balance, every time i go in i have to get something. I fell in love with the fit and faux leather material of this skirt.

Then i stumbled across this burgundy body suit and immediately i was in love! For once the V neck wasnt down to your belly button and the shape actually fitted my frame. The choker detail with the addition of a tie made this perfect for me and paired with skirt, i just love this outfit! I also have these cute burgundy loafer style shoes from New Look which i thought would look perfect!

Then as its so bloody cold now i thought i would show how stunning this outfit looks with this River Island coat! I love the colour tones on this coat and it matched with this outfit so well.
I love this look for autumn/winter!
