Summer Essentials

Thats right IM GOING ON HOLIDAY!! i am soooooo excited. On Thursday evening i will be flying out to Morocco for a whole week just eating, drinking and sunbathing. I cant bloody wait! So i thought before i go i would show you some new make up bits i have picked up for my holidays and also some of things i already own that i think are essential for that holiday look.

Lets start wit the face. I dont really like wearing alot of makeup on holiday especially a cakey, high coverage foundation so i bought this BB cream with SPF 25 so i can wear it day or night depending on how i feel. It will give me light coverage, a glow and also protect me from the sun. I got the shade light to medium because even though i do plan on tanning i dont want to go too dark!

Then a holiday isn't a holiday without all the highlighter! Glowy skin is my go to on holiday and you cant beat the champagne pop by Becca and Jaclyn Hill. But whilst i was taking the photos for this post, I DROPPED IT!! and it smashed so im beyond upset so im gong to have to buy a new one at the airport, let me know if any of you have any highlighters that give you the most amazing glow because i cant afford that one again! Onto brows i picked up this Maybelline master brow pro palette and pencil to just help give my brows shape and definition whilst im in sun. My eyebrows are really dark naturally so i have to buy the darkest shade they do. Then the light shade is perfect to clean up and add a really nice highlight to the brow bone. I always wear mascara its like my bare essential when it comes to make up, so i had heard so much about the benefit roller lash mascara i had to try it! Im planning on doing a review on doing a whole blog post on this when i get back so keep your eyes peeled.

Then finally we move onto lips. Glossy lips are my favourite type of lip when im on holiday because my lips get super dry in the sun and matte lipsticks tend to look really cracky on me. So i bought this lip gloss from Bourjois thats like a nudey pink shade its gorgeous for holiday. Then to add a bit of depth to the colour i add my new barest in the buff liner from Estee edit, a little gift from me to me.

I also got their flashback powder and its incredible especially in a photo you look flawless!! Let me know if you would like me to do a separate review of that in the comments below. Then of course you cant forget the summer bag and i just love this watermelon one i got from New Look last year. Its fun and playful perfect for the night time whilst your away.
