Duty Free Haul & First impressions

Who doesn't look forward to buying make up or some kind of treat in duty free? It was the part i was most looking forward about going on holiday. So as you all know i went to morocco recently and we flew from London Gatwick, which i have never done before.

So i was super excited to see what shops they had, but as per i ended up in Boots. I picked up a few bits and bobs, which i used whilst i was away and have also used  alot since ive been at home, so i can also give you my thoughts on each of the products.

Sleek Make Up Precious Metals Highlighting Palette

Highlighters are my life right now, however i have never tried a cream one before so i thought i would give this one a go. It has 3 cream shades and 1 gold powder shade. I have to say i dont like cream highlighters as much as powder ones as i dont think they look as natural on the skin, but i do love using them on my brow bone and to highlight the inner corners of my eye. I tend to use the silver shade for a silver based outfit and the gold, cream shades for a gold based outfit. The powder highlight in here is great and i love wearing this for a real intense highlight on the cheekbones. For only £9.99 its definitely worth it, you get 4 gorgeous shades instead of just one.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer

I love trying out new primers. I love ones that brighten my skin because mine does get very dull and this one gives a real glow to my skin. Not only that it does exactly what it says it should and kept my make up in place for the whole night. The L'Oreal Lumi Magique primer has been my favourite for the past few months but this one is definitely up there.

Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner

Me and eye liner aren`t getting on at the minute, i just feel like its not making my eyes pop like it used to. So i have just been doing eye shadow and mascara and leaving it at that, so i thought i would try a new liner out and see if that helped, but it hasn't. I love how dark this liner is and it stays on for a long time but i find it really hard to control and get that precise line or wing with. Its great to go over another liner to really deepen the colour but for control its not great.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer

Okay i have to admit bronzer is not something i usually like, im scared of looking to orange or over tanned but with me going on holiday i thought it would be okay and i have to say i now love bronzer! My foundations have been a little light since coming back of holiday and using this bronzer has really helped give my foundation the colour it needs. This one in particular gives me a lovely glow and even better it was free! Because i bought the primer and eyeliner which came to over £9 you get this bronzer free! Amazing!

Sleek Matte Lip Cream- Shabby Chic

I have saved the best till last. I am IN LOVE with this! The formula is just amazing, it dries super quick, literally lasts all night on your lips and is so pigmented! I got so many compliments when i wore this on my lips for my birthday. I had a meal and plenty of drinks and the lip cream hardly budged its was incredible. For £4.99 i cannot recommend these enough!!
