Flower Power

Florals have always been a pattern I tend to steer clear of, however recently this has all changed.

I was at my local shopping centre the other day as it was a student discount night and there was 20% off all Topshop stock! There was no way I was passing up this opportunity! So I was browsing around when this floral top immediately caught my eye. It's such a 70s piece with the warm red and orange colour scheme. The pattern is vibrant but incredibly wearable.
And I LOVE the flared effect on the sleeves.
To stick with the almost retro theme I added my a-line, button down denim skirt also from Topshop, which has become a staple piece in my wardrobe and will continue to be throughout the winter months.
I finished the look off with my brown flats from Primark, super comfy and a bargain at £5!!

How do you feel towards florals? Do you wear them a lot?

Hope you enjoyed and leave your comments below.
