Summer stripes

In light of the gorgeous weather we had last weekend I thought I would start injecting some summer colours into my blog.


I personally love wearing white jeans in summer/spring time it really makes your outfit look really crisp and fresh. They can be dressed up or down depending on what occasion you wear them for. I was just having a casual family day so i decided to pair them with this knitted, short sleeve River Island striped effect top. This top is such a staple for me in these transition months I've had it about two years and both years it's been worn so much at this time of year.      
Then on my feet I'm not ready to brave exposing my toes yet so I wore my red vans to coordinate with the main colour tone in my top. For when it got chilly I took my khaki denim style jacket with me, which is also from River Island. This jacket pretty much goes with everything during summer so be prepared to see it a lot!
