Over the past couple of months i have been struggling with ideas and i thought whilst i was away on holiday, which im sure ive bored you all to death with, it would be a good idea to take a step back and just enjoy my time in the real world. I cant tell you how much this has helped flow the creative juices. Being in a new place with beautiful surroundings and gorgeous weather really helped relax me and realise that i should be creating content that makes me happy and not anyone else. I needed to remember why i started my blog. Its my creative space that i love to escape too, Leaving my phone behind whilst i was out or by the pool was the best form of relaxation, it felt like you were cut off from the rest of the world, and for those two weeks it felt amazing. I cant tell you how important taking a break is if your feeling stuck or down about your blog. I was amazingly lucky to be in such a lovely place and i cant thank my parents enough, but if you cant get away just spend time with people you love and surround yourself in something other than the cyber world and i promise you, you will feel the benefit and so will your blog. So to end this post i thought i would share some pictures of my holiday, a few of my favourite outfits from the trip and the beautiful Dominican Resort we stayed in. Which if anyone you wanted to know was the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa. If any of you would like me to do a full hotel and holiday review, type post, just let me know in the comments before i would be more than happy to let any of you know what it was like.

Taking a Break is Okay
Being a blogger creativity is something we all rely on, we always have to be creating new and exciting content that other people actually want to read, and sometimes i feel we can all get a little bit too swept up in pleasing others.

I took a few days away from blogging and literally sometimes all you need is break to get your creative juices flowing! This place looks insane and all the outfits are so cute !
ReplyDeleteIts so helpful to help get back in the swing of things!

ReplyDeleteThank you it took alot of sunbathing haha
DeleteI totally agree that sometimes you just need a break. Just deciding to take a break makes me ready to get back to blogging like five minutes later haha! And I love all your outfits in this! Those striped trousers are stunning!
ReplyDeleteKelly // Velvet and Vibranium
Yeah it really shows how much you miss it!
DeleteSometimes the best way to come up with fresh content is to take a break. I don't think a short break has a great impact, however, a few years ago I took 18 months out and that had a serious detrimental impact on my blog, so I wouldn't recommend that long!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful holiday destination too.

Aww thank you i might do that is my block gets really bad!
DeleteI took about two weeks off but because I was on holiday and I don't take my laptop with me and I'm nowhere near Internet. it's only me time.
ReplyDeletebut if your blog is only a hobby I don't see why you (any anyone else) should be bothered by taking as many breaks as you want :D
