A HUGE Boots haul

I went a little crazy I know. I only went into town for a few bits, now I'm £80 down with all these gorgeous items and I don't regret it one bit.

This is new for me though, i usually go mad on clothes but i thought my make up bag needed some TLC instead of my wardrobe for a change. I thought I would show you all what I got, why I got them and how I plan on using them. If any of you would like me to an individual review of any of these products then please let me know in the comments below, I would love to help some of you out, if you are unsure of a product i`ve bought and perhaps want to buy it yourself. Okay so let's start with the base.
I kindly had my make up done by one the staff on the Loreal concession stand in the Boots store and she did a lovely job of my foundation so i purchased all the items (besides the foundation, as i`ve juts got some from Kiko, which i love) anyway, i got all the other products she used on my face.
My skin is really dry and foundation can easily come off when im out so i thought this primer would really help moisture and lighten my skin whilst holding it on for longer.
I don`t really have too many spots or blemishes on my skin but i really wanted something that would help get rid of dark marks under my eyes and like the primer its said to make your skin look fresh and light.
As my skin is super pale right now, when i`m going out i want to look a little but more tanned, without being orange. So i got this powder/ bronzer in the lightest shade they had which is blond sun to add a little bit of a tanned look.

I have been applying my make up with my hands for so long (awful i know) so i thought it was time to invest in some proper brushes! Ive heard such good things about real techniques brushes so i picked up their Foundation Brush and Concealer Brush to help me blend my make up better than i have been doing.
On to lips, which is my favourite part. I saw the new Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipsticks advertised the other day so i decided to give them a try. Its been a long time since i tried a liquid lipstick so i thought i would see what these are like. I picked up the shade Red-volution-15. Then i thought  i would also try the Aqua Edition to see the difference i got this in the shade Appechissant- 01 which to me is a fancy word for nudey pink. Then I saw that Soap and Glory had started doing make up so i had to try something!! I went for the Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip Colour & Sculpt Stick in the shade Chocoberry.

For my eyes i never really go too bold but i thought i would give some new shades ago and picked up this NYX Dream Catcher Palette- Golden Horizons. I cant really pull of a strong smokey eyes so this palette will allow me too create the look but a little but lighter. I had the 3 for 2 offer on all the Bourjois products so i decided to pick up the Ultra Black Liner Feature as i`m running very low on the one i have already.

Hope you all enjoyed the beauty side of me! Anything you would like me to test like i said just let me know in the comments! Thank you for taking the time to read my posts.

  1. I love the expert face brush, it's my fave brush foundation brush of all time. Top tip would be make sure you give it a deep clean once a week, otherwise it's nightmare.

  7. The NYX palette looks amazing! I haven't tried any NYX makeup yet but I think this might have to be my first purchase. I love the Expert Face Brush, I use it every day and think it makes foundation look so much nicer.

  10. YAYYYY! I finally have a source to use. I have been using completely off brand makeup for a long time and I need LEGIT makeup instead of mascara that expires in two weeks. This post was a humongous help to me. Thank you thank you thank you.

  12. I have one of the Bourjois liquid lipsticks but I think I need to try another one to form a better opinion because this one doesn't really show up on my lips as it's the same colour! Would like to see swatches of yours, that would be great in a review.
