My Top 5 Highlighters

I thought since I did my top 5 concealers post last week I would carry on with the same theme and pick out 5 of my favourite highlighters.

One of my top holy grail highlighter isn't in the photos because the worst thing happened. I drop it and it broke!! It was a sad day when it had to go to highlighter heaven but I will include it in this post and I'll leave a link to it so you can see how beautiful it is.

Makeup Revolution Highlighter Golden Lights- £3.99
One of the most pigmented drugstore highlighters ive used, a little really does go along way. I reserve this for nights out because its a really strong highlighter that isnt really very subtle. It looks great on the dance floor or out in a bar but for work i tend to use a different one. However for this price this is such good value and i highly doubt i will ever hit pan on this stuff.

Sleek Makeup Highlighter Palette Precious Metals- £9.99
This palette is amazing you get 3 cream and 1 powder highlights all for just £10! They are all such wearable shades and the cream formula blend like a dream. They really give you that pop of shimmer and i also love wearing these to highlight the inner corner of my eyes to make them pop! Sleek are one of those brands that know how to really give you great value for money and this palette comes everywhere with me its fab!

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator- £21.00
I fancied trying out a new shade of highlight, ive always gone for a gold tone so i thought i would try a pink/silver toned shade and see how it looked on my skin. I have to say this is perfect on my skin. It adds that subtle glow and i love wearing it during the day time as its not too strong but its so gorgeous on the skin, The only issue i have with this is that the swirl feature makes it hard to get alot of product onto a brush but other that the effect it has on the skin is amazing.

theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter- £17.50
This has to be my all time favourite highlighter. I understand why this is one of the best selling highlighters around its super pigmented and is just beyond beautiful on the skin. If you have never tried this product you NEED it in your collection its incredible and its 100% worth the price.

Jaclyn Hill & Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter- £30.00
The day i smashed this was the day my heart broke. This is honestly one of the most beautiful products ive ever owned. Its so finely milled that you have to be super careful with it, but this makes the highlighter so pigmented and glowy without being glittery. Its stunning on most skin types and i will definitely be repurchasing this one day, its priced at £30.00 which for me is alot for one product but i know how good it is, so once cult beauty decide to do free shipping again this is first on my list!

  1. Recently I discovered highlighters and I am obsessed. I was very basic and natural. Laura Gellar is new to me, and the shampange shade is the best for my skin tone. And it sounds perfect 😍💞 I didn't understand the obsession about the balm but if it were in discount I might get it 😁.
