How to wear a statement t shirt

Yay the sun is out! So it's finally the perfect weather for T-Shirts! This blog is all about how I would wear this new statement T-Shirt I got for my birthday last week (as usual from River Island). The gold shimmer and great slogan "original is trendy" make it a classic piece and as it's sunny I thought I would share a few ways to wear this kind of piece as they are a trend that will always be around.

Firstly I paired it with my, also new, kimono from River Island. It's almost like a beige zebra print, with a hint of pink and sparkle so for me it's perfect as I feel it can go with a lot of outfits. It's light and perfect for a summers evening. I paired each outfit with my high waited Miss Foxy jeans then have either worn my red Vans, for a edgier look or my Primark, black woven flats for a more feminine feel. All depending on your personal style. Then I decided to pair it with another statement piece my New Look watermelon purse and with no jacket I feel it really makes the outfit stand outgrown the rest. For when it gets a bit chilly of an evening I added my faithful River Island genuine leather jacket.
