It's tucked away in the centre of my favourite place in Manchester, the Northern quarter. Even from the outside it looks inviting. You walk into a rustic wooden interior and the most incredible smell! I spotted the cake stands and I knew I was in for a treat!
They offer all sorts of sweet treats, but I plumped for the toffee apple cake, and it was honestly one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted! It was a sponge cake with almost like a hobnob biscuit base, a caramelised top and the best bit of all. A huge toffee soaked apple in the centre! Finished off with a drizzle of caramel sauce and it was literally heaven on a plate! I even captured it from every angle!
There was so many different cakes to choose from anyone could find something they liked! But if you are more of a savoury person, there is also a huge range of breakfast and sandwich options. My mum ordered the fish finger ciabatta and that was also delicious, so full of flavour, we kind of shared half and half!
Next time I go I definetly need to try the rainbow cake! If you fancy a lunch, or afternoon tea here ( which I highly recommend) just click on their name at the top to browse through their menu!
I loved it here and it has increased my love for cake even more, if that was actually possible!!
Hope you enjoyed and leave me your thoughts below.
Oh my god a toffee apple cake?! That looked incredible. Why does it have to be so far away?! I now need cake in and around my mouth hahaha.
